Pilot brief

A prototype worth testing in the real world.

MedGuard is seeking carefully scoped learning partnerships—not claiming results that have not been earned.

The opportunity

Earlier awareness only matters when people can understand and use it.

Recurring public-health events and unequal digital access make trustworthy, location-relevant communication difficult. MedGuard is a Nigeria-first Android prototype designed to test a clearer, more inclusive awareness experience.

Health in real life

Information has to travel.

What exists, what needs validation, and what needs partners.

The questions a pilot should answer

Useful evidence before scale.

  1. ReachWho receives a relevant message, including people with limited smartphone or data access?
  2. ClarityCan people tell an official report, a modelled outlook and general environmental context apart?
  3. ActionDoes the experience help people find appropriate guidance or nearby care without overclaiming?
  4. TrustDo communities and implementation partners judge the experience safe, respectful and worth improving?

Bring a bounded question, not a vague promise.

MedGuard has no formal institutional partners yet. If your organisation, community or programme can help test a specific access or awareness question, we would like to hear from you.
