Collect less. Explain more.

This notice separates the public website waitlist from the mobile prototype because they handle very different kinds of information.

Last updated: 30 August 2026.

Website waitlist

When you join the prototype waitlist, we collect your email address, optional platform preference and the time you gave contact consent. We use this only to manage prototype access and send important testing updates.

The waitlist does not ask for your name, health information or location. Version one uses no marketing analytics or advertising trackers. Basic technical request handling may occur at our infrastructure providers, but MedGuard does not intentionally store your IP address in the waitlist record.

Pilot and feedback inquiries

If you send a pilot request, product suggestion or community idea, we collect your email address, inquiry topic, message, consent time and any organization or role you choose to provide. Do not include symptoms, diagnoses, medical records, location details or another person’s information. Duplicate and rate-limit checks use one-way technical keys; raw IP addresses are not stored in the inquiry record.

Who processes website forms

The website is hosted by Vercel. Waitlist and inquiry submissions are processed by Supabase, and notification email is sent through Resend. These providers process limited technical data under their own terms and security practices.

Mobile health information

In the mobile prototype, personal check-ins and profile context are intended to be protected by authentication, database permissions and row-level access controls. Compact same-user summaries may be encrypted on a device to support faster or offline display. Health conversations are not cached locally.

Location

Location sharing is optional. When enabled, coordinates may be used to verify an alert state and find nearby care. When disabled, stored coordinates are cleared and the saved manual state is used as the fallback alert area.

Notifications

A device token may be associated with a signed-in account to send opted-in alerts. Tokens should be reassigned on account switching and removed on sign-out. Local check-in reminders are managed separately on the device.

Retention and your choices

You can ask to leave the prototype waitlist, delete an inquiry or request information about an entry by emailing medguardng@gmail.com. We retain entries only while they are needed for prototype access, inquiry follow-up and reasonable operational records.

Security and prototype limits

We use access controls, validation, duplicate controls and rate limits intended to reduce misuse. No prototype can promise absolute security. Do not submit health details through the waitlist, inquiry form or support email.

Changes

Material changes will be reflected here with a new date. A separate, more detailed policy will be required before any public app-store release.
