Terms

Terms for an early-stage prototype.

These terms cover the public website, contact forms and prototype-access list. They do not turn MedGuard into a medical service.

Last updated: 30 August 2026.

Prototype status

MedGuard is an experimental health-awareness product under active development. Features, availability, data sources and access may change or stop without notice.

Not medical advice

Website and prototype content is general awareness information, not diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, emergency monitoring or a substitute for qualified medical care. Call 112 for life-threatening emergencies in Nigeria.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse website forms, attempt to bypass security controls, submit another person’s details without permission, include personal health information in an inquiry, disrupt the service, scrape it abusively or rely on the prototype for urgent clinical decisions.

Information sources

Third-party information remains subject to its publisher’s context, corrections and terms. References to NCDC, WHO or any other source do not imply partnership or endorsement.

No guarantee

To the extent permitted by law, the website and prototype are provided as available without warranties of accuracy, uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose or medical outcome.

Ownership

MedGuard’s original brand, interface, software and written material are proprietary and protected. All rights are reserved. Third-party names and materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Ending access and deleting submissions

We may limit or end prototype access to protect users, the service or the integrity of testing. You may leave the waitlist or ask us to delete an inquiry by contacting us.
